I love 35mmc. It’s celebrates 35mm compact cameras which I preferred as I shoot mainly life/street photography. Before I had the Minolta as my daily camera I have been using the Nikon F3 which is a great camera but too heavy for daily lugging. The Minolta CLE was perfect for me small, light and aperture priority I almost always have it in my hand when I’m out. The best camera is the one you always have with you. I know this is a very cliche quote but it is true.
Life unfolds everywhere you need to be paying attention. We all have smartphones that can double as very capable cameras but there’s just something about a film camera that put you in the flow state to compose and shoot.
So bring the a camera everywhere you go. It forces you to be mindful and actually see the beauty of the world. Don’t take photography too seriously. Enjoy it.
