Together with my previous 5 frames with… I guess this will make a niche-y little sequence of 80s/90s underwater cameras. But rather than a review of the Fuji HD-M, I intend this to be an appreciation post and a love song to a particular film – CineStill 800T.
A few years ago my parents got me my first own camera – a Leica Vlux 114. Before that I just shot my pictures with cameras, which I lent from them. Soon after that I bought a Leica M6 and Elmar 50mm f/2.8. That was the moment when I was bitten by the Leica-Bug.Since then I bought and tried many cameras, lenses and films.
Some time earlier on this year I borrowed a Zeiss Ikon – the modern M-mount camera often referred to as the “Ikon ZM”. I’ve been fascinated by these cameras for a long time so when the offer of a loan came up, I jumped on it.
These train carriages are parked up on a disused bit of railway line just inside the Hartlebury Trading estate near Kidderminster. Quite beautiful in their decay I think, I decided to take a few shots of them.
