Was given my first camera aged 10 in 1968 – a 126 format Kodak Instamatic - and having caught the bug progressed to shooting, developing and printing B&W as a teenager, mostly of 70's bands at concerts. After University, had a career in IT, during which I spent 9 years doing a part time photography degree just for the pleasure of it, although any skills learnt then seem to have mostly disappeared. Traded my beautiful Bronica ETRSi outfit for a crappy digital snapshot camera when film looked to be finished, and despite moving on to digital SLRs, like many others lost interest with cameras that were too complicated to remember how to use, and/or did everything automatically anyway. Moved back into film in my late fifties, and having been bitten by the dreaded GAS, have progressed through all sorts of mostly vintage gear, and am currently slowly getting back into developing and printing. Although mostly a shooter of travel and family snapshots, still photographing bands at gigs! I buy most of my film and darkroom supplies from Nik & Trick but also use Analogue Wonderland; both of them do some of my processing.
