I have finished this roll of Kodak Gold 200 in January this year, although I hadn’t sent it to my local development lab as I was too lazy to drive there. Besides, I also had a roll of Fuji Superia X-Tra 400 that was half full loaded in my camera, and I thought I’ll finish that roll and then take both of them to be developed. I stored the Gold 200 in my drawer until mid April.
Yashica Electro 35 GS
My name is Salman Rameli, a 23 years old software developer from Surabaya, Indonesia. My interest in photography started when I was 6 years old, after my father bought a Canon PowerShot A200 to replace his Nikon F-501. Being a child, I did not know how to operate the contraption that the adults use to take photos. The mystery of photography also baffled me back then. How can you confidently know that you have captured the moment you wanted perfectly, if you could not see the result instantly?
I came about my Electro 35 purely by chance. I must admit that I knew about these cameras but never had much interest in them in the past, but ever since seeing The Amazing Spiderman (Andrew Garfield is the perfect Peter Parker; change my mind!) I wanted one. But thanks to that incredible movie, the prices tripled online compared to what they used to be. So I stopped looking.
