I don’t know if this is my favorite photo of 2025, but it certainly received the most “likes” on Flickr, which — for me, at least — are harder to come by than those on Instagram.

One of the things I appreciate about the Olympus XA2, in addition to its ease of use, is the self-timer, which lends itself to photos like this one. With the XA series there’s absolutely no reason not to have a film camera with you at ALL times.

Camera, Film, Developer, and Paper Details: Olympus XA2; Kodak Tri-X 400; Ilford DD-X; and Ilford MGFB (Multigrade Fiber-based) paper.
