Above and Beyond – One Shot Story

For anyone with an interest in cars and, or, people the Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England makes for an enjoyable day out.  This is an annual gathering of some of the most exotic cars in the country held in the grounds of one of England’s finest country estates.

Here, a lucky combination of action and setting made a good subject for a one shot story.  The panel titled “Above and Beyond” refers to the Palace’s roof restoration programme.  It also seemed to apply equally to the efforts of the car-detailing professional who was washing an already immaculate car amongst a field full of other immaculate cars.  Taken on Ilford FP4 Plus 125 with a Minolta X700.

I think the car underneath the suds is a Maserati MC20.
