Ioana Trifu

Born and raised in Cluj Napoca, Romania, Ioana is a photographer and filmmaker, whose interests are both in traditional narratives and interactive formats (new media, VR). She holds a BA degree in photography and cinematography and an MA degree in documentary filmmaking. Her short films have been selected to several film festivals, and she continues her studies in cinema by taking part in several workshops and film labs, such as Interdoc Masterclass 2018, TIFF VR Workshop 2017 or Civil Society Pitch 2018. Nowadays, she mostly takes photographs on 35mm film.
