Pergear 60mm f/2.8 Prototype (Fuji X mount) – Review by Iurii Zvonar

Today I’m sharing my impressions on Pergear 60mm F2.8 lens in Fuji X mount. The sample was provided by Pergear in April, and it is an early prototype. I also had time to shoot with it and chance to provide feedback on any discovered flaws few months ago. Hopefully they are fixed in a production line lens samples. I’ll mostly focus attention on generic mechanical and optical performance. It’s important to take into account that it is not a perfect sample, but is good enough to get initial impressions.

Pergear 35mm f/1.2 Lens in Fuji X-Mount Review – by Iurii Zvonar

This article is a mini-review of newest affordable ultra-fast manual focus lens, the Pergear 35mm f/1.2 in Fuji X mount.

About a year ago I was contacted by Pergear regarding reviewing their gimbals and studio light modules, but I’m not a video shooting person so can’t highlight much useful in that area. Then, a few weeks back Pergear messaged me regarding their Pergear 35mm f/1.2 manual focusing lens – and I could not resist. I just like compact lenses with large aperture, and enjoy manual focusing, so this is going to be interesting discovery.

7artisans 55mm F1.4 Review – Shot on a Fuji X Camera – by Iurii Zvonar

Thanks to quite convenient focus assist system, it’s a joy to use true manual focus lens on Fuji X cameras. It’s the main reason I use these third party lenses available for Fuji X mount. One of my favourite adapted lens on Fuji X camera is the Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5. It’s designed for a full frame cameras, and is a bit heavy, but I like it for its small size and decent moderate sharpness – it’s also great for portraits. Of course an APS-C alternative should be optically smaller so I have for a long time looking for other options. The 7artisans 55mm F1.4 made quite an interesting candidate, partly due to attractive price, but also for its 14-blade aperture.
