EVENT: The LCE Worcester Film Photography Collective – 25th October 2025

By Derek Hope

As part of my work at London Camera Exchange, I have always been keen on making the Worcestershire area a photographic hub, an imaging oasis, a haven for those of us in habit of carting our cameras to every BBQ and baby shower.

The especially masochistic of us choose to harken back to simpler days of grain and chemicals; being one such masochist, I’m pleased to announce that our Film Photography Collective event has officially launched!

With support from Swains, Cewe, and of course, the ever-generous Hamish, on 25th October 2025, we’ll be hosting our first meet-up. On top of spending the day with like-minded photographers of all skill levels, you’ll receive a cup of coffee, cake, a roll of colour or black and white 35mm film, free developing, and entry into our exclusive prize draw, where you’ll have 3 chances to win some incredible analogue prizes!

As part of your event ticket price, you’ll also receive one loyalty card; develop 9 rolls and get your 10th dev for free.

At £30 per event, it’s a great chance to shoot some film and become part of the community.

If you snap your way through reels upon reels, we’re offering the new FPC Loyalty Premium card. For £130, members have access to all 6 events for the year; that’s a saving of £50 if you were to attend each one. As a perk for your support, you’ll get loyalty cards as and when you complete them. It’s a great way to save on developing or maybe shoot something you’ve never have tried while the dev’s on us!

If you’ve heard everything you need to hear, I’ve added payment links for the first session and for FPC Loyalty Premium at the end.

I’m very excited at the prospect of helping to bring the film community together, and if you’re local, or love a good drive, I’d love to see you there!

About The Author

By Derek Hope
During my time working as a Property Photographer, I quickly learned the value of producing work that I love, not just photographs that pay the bills. After leaving houses and floorplans behind me, I made it a mission to only shoot what inspired me. With a BA Hons in Digital Film Production, composition, technique, and story telling became my biggest motivators for producing the kind of work I do. My Leica M240, the Leica iiia, and the Wista Field 4x5 (plus various other imaging oddities) are some of my most prized possessions, and keep my passion for making photographs alive. Working at a camera shop, nestled in the heart of Worcestershire, I spend most of my time there nerding out with other passionate geeks.
