I am over 75 years old and married. Been using cameras for a long time, mainly since the late 1970s. Wish I had really gotten into it in the 1960s; could have made a lot of interesting photos of cypress lakes while fishing, and other outdoor photos; could have made a lot of photos of RR engines way back then; might have gotten into photojournalism, newspaper work, whatever. Oh well. It is as it is. I'm still making photos, still walking outdoors a little, although I have done only a little of that this year. Mostly, I have been photographing old buildings and old vehicles. I modified old Polaroid cameras, first generation type, to use 120 film, and I used B&W film in those. In September 2025 I bought a Graflex 4x5 Speed Graphic, an old press camera, and a 120-roll film holder, and I use that for film photography. I still use digital cameras too, but I have a lot of interest in the press camera. Some day I might get some 4x5 inch sheet film and use that, but for now, I'm using B&W 120 film, Kentmere in particular. I will probably use my modified Polaroid 110A again. My wife and I both enjoy the outdoors, although she isn't able to get out and walk like we used to.
