Marco North is a photographer, filmmaker and author. Born in Brooklyn, and educated at SUNY Purchase, he studied with the likes of Jan Groover and Richard P. Rogers. For the last twenty years he has generated a body of work that has been described as evocative and singular. Past projects include a documentary short titled Grass Will Grow that was funded by a NYSCA Decentralization grant, a novel Samantha, and a tribute film for the Nantucket Film Festival honoring Paul Schrader.    He has taught and lectured at The Pratt Institute, The School of Visual Arts, NYU, and the British School of Design in Moscow.
