Following on from a recent posting by Tim Wainwright, we met up at Southwark’s Borough Market, along with another 35mmc contributor, Peter Roberts. The idea was to get to know each other and to find some interesting things to photograph. This posting is an attempt to document our walk along the banks of the Thames …

Next Friday the 25th of August 2017 I will be in London running a film photography workshop. If you spend any time at all on Instagram you have probably come across Beers & Cameras. Started by Juan and a friend just over a year ago, they hold bi-weekly Camera and Beer related meet-ups in California.
These meet-ups look like loads of fun… the problem is, I don’t live in California. In fact, I don’t live in the States, I live in England, which is quite far to travel to go to a meet-up. As such, I decided that rather the bring me to the meet-up, I’d bring the meet-up to me.
After a few chats with Juan, Beers & Cameras Worcester was born.
The first event is to be held on the 7th of Decemeber at the Firefly in Lowesmoor in Worcester. If you would like to come, please register on meetup here.
While taking pictures, geeking-out on gear, and enjoying delicious craft beer (other drinks available), we will have a talk from Matt of AG Photographic on world of C-Type printing and how he would argue the Inkjet just can’t possibly match it for quality.
Come along, it will be fun!!
