Come to the inaugural Beers & Cameras, Worcester!

By Hamish Gill

If you spend any time at all on Instagram you have probably come across Beers & Cameras. Started by Juan and a friend of his just over a year ago, they hold bi-weekly Camera and Beer related meet-ups in California.

These meet-ups look like loads of fun… the problem is, I don’t live in California. In fact, I don’t live in the States, I live in England, which is quite far to travel to go to a meet-up. As such, I decided that rather the bring me to the meet-up, I’d bring the meet-up to me.

After a few chats with Juan, Beers & Cameras Worcester was born.

The first event is to be held on the 7th of Decemeber, 6.30pm at the Firefly in Lowesmoor in Worcester. If you would like to come, please register on meetup here.

While taking pictures, geeking-out on gear, and enjoying delicious craft beer (other drinks available), we will have a talk from Matt of AG Photographic on world of C-Type printing and how he would argue the Inkjet just can’t possibly match it for quality.

Come along, it will be fun!!

Nothing better than an english pub and some beers.
Remembering my M8 shutter needed to be repaired in Sölms, lol, stuck by some beer drops.

Hmm..makes me think. With my personal love for (craft) beer and the abundance of said deliciousness found in Ontario, there should be a Toronto Chapter to this phenomenon. There will certainly be no lack of enthusiastic film photographers.

It wasn't the shutter itself but the button and settings knob.
It was funny reading your english lessons.
Maybe this new verb pinting=drinking pints is useful for your meeting.

My two favourite things! A wee bit too far away from Scotland for me, bummer. Might need to start one here. I expect an after-event meetup report, Hamish!

If you have half an idea to set one up, speak to Juan... it'd be so good to see this spread!
