Just a couple of notes on the donations and subscriptions…
First off, thank you to everyone that has supported me and the website with donations and subscriptions recently!!
Subscriptions
Second, to everyone I has been in touch asking to up their subscription and has received a cryptic message about logging into paypal – apologies, I have now had confirmation that it is no longer possible to change a subscription amount once signed up.
And… thank you to everyone who has said I should just up the subscription amount on the basis of £2.99 being too cheap – I have taken the advice and changed it to £5/month
For all of you who are already subscribed, this will make no difference to your £2.99 sub – as long as you don’t cancel it, it will stay at that amount.
If you wish to change it to £5, you can now do so on the subscribe page here (please note, this will create a second subscription and will not cancel the first one – assuming you don’t want both, you can then cancel the £2.99 one here)
Donations
Thanks also to those who commented on the website and emailed me saying the donation function needed to be more obvious. I agree, and have added a new button to the header of the website. (if you can’t see it, hold shift on your keyboard whilst refreshing the page). This link currently takes you to the Ko-Fi page where one off donations can be made. If anyone is wishing to make a one off donation to cover a period of ad-free membership to the website, this is fine, but please get in touch – I am still thinking on the best way to make this work.
