News: Viltrox 75mm 1.8 and 90mm f/2.2 EVO APS-C Lenses announced

Viltrox have today announced their 75mm 1.8 and 90mm f/2.2 EVO APS-C lenses – these are new to the EVO range which currently comprises an 85mm, 55mm and 35mm full frame lenses.

It’s a bit of a Viltrox EVO lens day on 35mmc today. I have been working on my 55mm and 35mm lens reviews for a little while now and had them scheduled for today sometime early next week. By coincidence, my contact there got in touch last Friday to say tell me the new 75mm and this 90mm lens would be announced today too. So here we are with 4 Viltrox EVO lens related posts in one day…

Viltrox 75mm f/1.8 EVO

– 75mm (112mm equiv.) f/1.8 (21.4 degrees FOV)
– 0.74m MFD
– 11 optics in 9 group design with a bunch of fancy elements
– Sony FE mount (335g), Nikon Z mount (350g), Fuji X mount (325g)
– STM focus motor (silent, fast and internal focusing)
– Focus Ring (nicely damped)
– Aperture control with switch to click/de-click
– AF/MF switch
– Fn button
– 58mm filter

Viltrox 90mm f/2.2 EVO

– 90mm (135mm equiv.) f/2.2 (18.6 degrees FOV)
– 0.74m MFD
– 10 optics in 8 group design with a bunch of fancy elements
– Sony FE mount (320g), Nikon Z mount (345g), Fuji X mount (325g)
– STM focus motor (silent, fast and internal focusing)
– Focus Ring (nicely damped)
– Aperture control with switch to click/de-click
– AF/MF switch
– Fn button
– 58mm filter
– Unified design across all EVO lens range
– Launch price $369USD/€429EUR/£359GBP
